Hi, I’m Hannah. The hands and heart behind Little Creek Homesteading
I’m a first generation homesteader and a mom to a wild, wonderful little girl. Before this life, I worked as a mental health therapist. Now I spend my days gardening, sewing, keeping bees, raising animals, and building a slower, more intentional life for my family.
My journey began in my parents’ backyard knees in the dirt with a pack of tomato starts and a big dream. I dug out a tiny plot with a shovel and no idea what I was doing….just a deep pull toward something more rooted. And what started as a small experiment has grown into our cozy homestead, Little Creek, where we raise chickens and goats, grow our own food, keep bees, craft by hand, and weave learning and intention into the rhythm of our days.
I spent years building a career, going to school, attending trainings, only to realize what I truly wanted was a life rooted in home, family, and the land. Homesteading isn’t just a change in lifestyle–it’s a return to myself.

I believe homesteading isn’t about perfection or having acres of land. It’s about the slowing down enough to notice…the first sprouts of spring, the smell of fresh bread, the hum of bees, the sound of your child discovering the world.
I am passionate about blending:
- seasonal living
- gardening + beekeeping
- fresh-milled baking + from-scratch cooking
- sewing + handmade crafts
- gentle, nature-based homeschooling
- mental health + self-tending
My background in psychology shapes the way I see homesteading: as a grounding, healing, deeply human way of living. The land steadies me. Making things by hands brings me home to myself. And raising my daughter in this environment has brought a kind of magic into our everyday life that I never expected.
